FAQs
How much does therapy cost?
1
Investing in therapy is a significant decision for families. My goal is to provide evidence-based, individualized treatment that helps your child develop skills they can continue using long after therapy ends. By using evidence-based approaches that have been shown to work and regularly checking progress, my goal is to help your child make meaningful changes without spending more time in therapy than necessary.
During the intake evaluation, we’ll discuss your concerns and goals and develop a treatment plan that makes sense for your child and family. The initial intake evaluation is $300, followed by $200 per therapy session. The number of sessions varies depending on your child’s needs and goals, with many children and teens benefiting from approximately 8–16 sessions of evidence-based, skills-focused therapy.
I do not currently accept insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Insurance plans vary, so I encourage you to check with your provider about your out-of-network mental health benefits. I’m happy to help you understand what information to ask your insurance company about.

What ages do you work with?
3
I provide therapy for children and teens ages 4–18, with treatment tailored to each child’s developmental stage, personality, and individual needs. I also offer parent coaching and parent-focused services to help caregivers better understand their child’s behavior, strengthen their relationship, and feel more confident navigating challenging moments at home.
I currently only provide services virtually. Telehealth offers children and teens greater flexibility while reducing missed school time and the stress and time commitment of driving to appointments.

How do I know if therapy is right for my child?
5
Therapy can be helpful when your child’s emotions, behaviors, or challenges are interfering with their daily life, relationships, school, or overall well-being. I use evidence-based approaches while recognizing that every child is unique, so treatment is tailored to your child’s individual needs, personality, strengths, and goals. Together, we’ll determine whether therapy is a good fit and what approach will be most helpful.
Do you provide family therapy?
6
I do not provide traditional family therapy, but parent involvement is an important part of many children’s and teens’ treatment. Depending on your child’s needs, I may incorporate parent sessions, parent coaching, or family involvement to help support progress at home. I also offer specialized parent-focused treatments, including PCIT, PMT, and SPACE.
